Obituary

Jose Antonio Cisneros, a.k.a "Cuban Joe", "Cariñito", 91, of Umatilla, entered into the presence of the Lord on September 25, 2025, beside his adoring wife, Beth, at their home.

He was born March 31, 1934, to Antonio and Maria Cisneros in Havana, Cuba. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; 4 children, Maribel, Danilo, Dania a.k.a. "Cookie", and Jose, Jr; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Maria Cisneros, brothers, Eduardo a.k.a. "Amado" and Luis Cisneros.

He worked in Civil Service at the Naval Air Station in Key West. Later he worked for Monroe County as the Animal Control Officer.

He was a man of increasing faith, often encouraging those without hope or a home. His heart overflowed with God's grace and he put that love to action by helping others in need.

His favorite time of day was early morning, listening to his wife read the Bible, sing hymns, and then praying together. And now he is dancing in the presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!!!

A celebration of his life will be held at New Life Tabernacle, 719 Prado Circle, Big Coppitt, Key West on October 18, 2025 at 4 pm.
