It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on October 14th, 2025, of Jose Ramon Rodriguez, my husband of 34 years, who is now resting. He was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, where he went to school and college and later moved to the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he lived for 40 years and worked mainly as a social worker.  His last place of residence was in Florida where we lived until his last days. He is survived by his wife Noelia Rodriguez, daughters, Vanessa and Nydia Rodriguez, his stepdaughter Eva Oropesa, stepson, Liberato Torres Jr., step grandsons and stepgrandaughters, Liberto Joel Torres, Jose Luis Torres, Natalia Torres, Luis Raul Oropesa and Jannalees Torres. Also, his brother-in-law Antonio Mattei, nephews Antonio, Ariel, and niece Eva. His aunt and sisters, Carmen Perez and Viera. We thank the family and friends who were there and went to visit him at home and at the hospital as well. May God bless you all and we hope to see him again when he is resurrected.
