Judy E. Henry, 83, The Villages, FL, went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2025, under the care of Cornerstone Hospice and Trinity Springs Memory Care in Oxford. FL. Judy was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, in 1942 to her parents, Wayne and Gertrude Relue.
Judy and her loving husband of 62 years, Clifford (Cliff) Henry met in Ft. Wayne, IN and were married in 1963. They moved to The Villages, FL in 2005 from Urbana, OH. They previously lived in Ft. Wayne as well.
Prior to moving to The Villages, Judy worked at International Harvester (now Navistar) for 38 years, before retiring with her husband in 1999. Judy enjoyed many activities including golf, water skiing, reading and snow skiing. She was also a cat lover, enjoying many years of having one or more cats as pets that gave her enjoyment.
At The Villages, Judy was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wildwood, FL and continued to enjoy golf, pickleball and live music at the town squares. She also added organ playing to her interests. She was a breast cancer survivor and proudly spent four years with The Dragon Sisters dragon boating team at the Villages. The Dragon Sisters team is comprised of breast cancer survivors. While competing, she was part of a team that qualified and competed in Italy.
Her greatest love was her two sons, Mike Henry of Whitestown, IN and Randy (Ginger) Henry of Carmel, IN. Judy was also the cool grandma to six grandchildren (Ashley, Corey, Brad, Madelyn, Carson and McKenzie), as well as five great grandchildren (Sophia, Olivia, Julianna, Mateo and Capri).
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Relue, her father Wayne Relue, and her brother Frank Relue.
A mass honoring Judy will be held on Saturday, November 15th at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wildwood, FL. (352) 205-4210
Her family will host a Celebration of Life in Ft. Wayne at a date to be determined later.
