Karen S Engel of Leesburg, was called home to the Lord September 15, 2025. Loving wife of Carl for 43 beautiful years. Cherished mother to Brian (Jessie), and amazing stepmother to Mark (Renee), Michael (Lesa), Mike (Angela) and Lisa. Caring sister of Sherry & Jo Ellen. Beloved grandmother, aunt, relative & friend to so many people.

Karen loved to travel and was fortunate to see much of the world with Carl.  They had many adventures together touring Hawaii, Scotland, Germany, Australia & Japan just to name a few.

Karen was a great supporter of Toys for Tots, volunteering at the toy drive for many years.  She was also a proud member of MCLA The Villages Unit.

Above all, she loved time with her family & friends.  A Wisconsin girl (and forever a Packer fan), Karen treasured trips to WI to spend time with her children, grandchildren, family & friends.  Many amazing friendships were made in Florida, with Friday night cocktails being one of her favorite get togethers.

Her family will forever miss her but is immensely thankful for the impact she had on all our lives.  She was & always will be a great blessing to us.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.

If desired, donations may be made to Tunnels to Towers or a charity of your choice, as Karen always loved to support the causes that were important to her family & friends.
