Obituary

Linda Marie Lampasona, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters, Elaina Lampasona and Adrienne Lampasona, her granddaughter, Deanna Lynn Lampasona, and her son-in-law, Tony Romer, in the early morning of August 11th, 2025.

Linda was born on November 8th, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, to her beloved mother, Angela Perez (nee Pocchia), and father, Victor Perez. She was preceded in death by her adoring husband and soul mate of 51 years, Peter Lampasona. She leaves behind her three daughters, Denise Cafaro, Elaina Lampasona (Tony Romer), and Adrienne Lampasona, and her grandchildren, Deanna Lynn Lampasona and Otto Cafaro.

She was known fondly as Lynn to some, as Ma to her daughters, and as Nana to her granddaughter. Her memory lives on and through her sisters, Ramona Di Spoda and Dolly Minghini, and her many nieces, nephews and cousins, from both her Perez and Lampasona families.

Lynn warmed every space she entered and did all things through Christ. She loved beachside sunsets, tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, baking on Sunday mornings, dancing to her favorite music, rummaging through clothing racks, hot fudge sundaes and finding the perfect pair of shoes.

Besides the perfect pair of shoes, she also wore many hats. She was a doting mother, an indomitable wife, and her granddaughter's loudest cheerleader. Her and her husband spent many years not only cultivating the most beautiful life, but also, the most beautiful gardens and meals together. She was truly creative and brought beauty everywhere she went. Her home was always warm with the smell of fresh pastries and at Christmas, her favorite holiday, was always lit up in the most magical way with her favorite song, "O'Holy Night" playing.

Lynn did not shy away from hard work and was recognized as being a very caring and compassionate person to everyone whose life she entered. No amount of words will ever encompass the force she was and the impact she had on her family and friends.
