Michael P. Burke passed away September 13, 2025, after a lengthy battle with dementia. A United States Army Veteran, he earned the rank of E-5 at the age of twenty-two. He followed with a forty-year career as a pressman with the Orlando Sentinel. Mike loved family, co-workers, friends, many lifetime pets, reading, and time spent with nature. Upon retirement, he became an artist and enjoyed giving his work to others. He is survived by son Martin (Kelly, Kelly's mom Nancy) daughter Trina (Doug) grandchildren Dylan, Kristen, Emmett, and sister Pam. Special thank you to his wonderful HBPC Team and the VA of Lake Nona, the months of outstanding and loving care from Certus at Waterford Lakes, and the compassionate and skilled care from Cornerstone Hospice House of Orlando. Per Mike's wishes, the family will gather privately and then reach out to friends in the weeks ahead.
