Miriam Alma Andrews, 92 of Leesburg Florida was called home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was born in Funkstown Maryland on November 28, 1932 to Ellis and Jane Duffey.

Miriam is survived by her children Cynthia Cordell, Charles Beard, Barbara Kershner, Jodi Niehans, Krista Leggett, and Neal Beard, and sister Barbara Starliper, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James H.R. Andrews.

The family wishes to thank the PCU staff at Advent Health Waterman Hospital in Tavares Florida and E.W. & Lucille Cates House of Marion County Hospice for their care and comfort during her final weeks. The family suggests donations in her memory be made to the E.W. and Lucille Cates Hospice House of Marion County Florida. Memorial gathering will be at First United Methodist Church of Mt. Dora on November 13, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Miriam will be placed at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell FL on November 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
