Obituary

Moises Miranda, a devoted father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a brief illness. In his final days, he was surrounded by family, comforted by their presence and care.

Born in Honduras, he moved to Connecticut in his twenties, where he built his life, started a family, and put down lasting roots. He spent most of his adult life there before relocating to Florida ten years ago. Florida became home in his later years, a place where he found ease, familiarity, and a slower rhythm that suited him well.

He was the proud father of two sons and was preceded in death by his first son, a loss he carried with quiet strength. He was a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren, each of whom brought him deep joy and pride. Over the years, he mellowed into a gentler, more reflective version of himself, and he was deeply loved by those closest to him.

He was also a devoted, protective, and supportive brother, a role he took seriously and with great heart. His loyalty to family ran deep, and he showed up when it mattered most.

He enjoyed watching soccer and faithfully followed his New York Mets, remaining a fan through every season. These simple routines brought him comfort and familiarity, especially in his later years.

He will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for family, and the quiet, reliable way he cared for those around him. He will be deeply missed.
