On the morning of October 16 th , Norm Blais passed peacefully in his home after a long battle with brain cancer.

He was born in Lewiston Maine and attended Ricker College and University of Maine. He spent 4 years in Europe serving in the Air Force.  His employment took him to El Paso, Texas, Albuquerque New Mexico, and Ontario, Canada, before moving to Florida where he owned a small electronics manufacturing business until his illness prevented him from continuing.  He did some traveling with his wife Claire, and his favorite pastime was golf, where he really excelled.

He is survived by his wife Claire (Madore), his son Scott and daughter-in-law Katherine (Haslau), his brother Jerry and Debbie (Donnell), and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son Steve and his parents Roland and Ida.
