IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia
Lindberg
December 9, 1938 – December 8, 2025
Patricia Anne Lindberg (née McConnell), a woman of style and spirit, made her final journey on December 8, 2025 at the age of 86, just one day shy of her birthday (December 9, 1938). Born in Manhattan to Milford and Margaret (Kenny) McConnell, she spent her early childhood in Harlem before moving to New Jersey. She went on to raise her family in Ringwood and later lived in Wayne before retiring to Florida.
Pat was a woman of impressive versatility. For over 20 years, she was a glamorous fixture at Stern's, working as a beauty advisor for Lancôme. She also spent more than 25 years serving the public as a Court Administrator for both the Fairfield Municipal Court and working in the Wayne Municipal Court, taking great pride in her paralegal certificate. A true social butterfly and member of the Elks, she loved music, dance, shopping, and the thrill of the Kentucky Derby.
Her memory is carried forward by her siblings, Daniel, Margaret, and Nancy Anne; her children, John Lindberg (and wife Kelly), Patricia Lindberg, and Cindy Clegg (and husband Gene); and a legacy of six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren she adored. Patricia was a force of nature—a vibrant mix of wild joy and steady comfort. She moved through life with a sparkle that lit up every room, effortlessly weaving ordinary moments into a tapestry of celebration. But more than the fun, it was her fierce protection and unyielding love that served as the foundation of her family. She lived an authentic, one-of-a-kind life, leaving an absence that will be felt beyond measure.
