Petrina "Pat" Mallimo, 82, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, at Lady Lakes Senior Living after a period of declining health. Born on June 30, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Barusso) Lombardo.
Pat was preceded in death by her beloved siblings Vincent Lombardo and Josephine Shea. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Nazzareno (Mike) Mallimo, whom she married on September 11, 1965. Together, they built a lifetime of love, laughter, and family.
She will be forever be remembered by her children, Ann Marie Mehler (John) and Michael Mallimo (Tammy); her siblings Teresa Cipriani (Lenny), Sam Mallimo (JoAnn), Joe Mallimo, and Maria Scuccimarri (Ronnie); and her adored grandchildren, Kevin Mehler, Brandon Mehler, Tricia VanSlyke (Aaron), Trina Mallimo, Tara Moody (Parker), and Peyton Mallimo. Pat was also blessed with great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy: James VanSlyke, Harper VanSlyke, and Cade Moody.
Pat lived most of her life on Long Island, New York, before retiring to The Villages, Florida, where she and Mike enjoyed their golden years surrounded by sunshine, community, and lasting friendships.
She will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, her kindness, and her warm, welcoming spirit. Pat was an amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who filled every gathering with laughter, stories, and love. Her strength, compassion, and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held on December 5, 2025, at 11 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in The Villages, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her honor.
