Obituary

Philip C. Romano Sr., lovingly known as "Dr. Phil," of Daytona Beach, Florida, formerly of Weymouth, Massachusetts, passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 68.

Born on March 29, 1957, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Philip proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army before dedicating his career to working as a skilled mechanic. His love for working with his hands was evident in everything he did—whether fixing cars, phones, laptops, or televisions, he was always ready to help others with his knowledge and skill.

Philip is survived by his wife, Yvonne Romano; his children, Philip Romano Jr., Philip Romano, and Kimberly Romano; and his many beloved grandchildren. He is also remembered by his brother, Donald Romano, and nephews, Anthony Romano and Nicholas Jankowski. Philip was predeceased by his daughter, Renee Anderson; his siblings, Kathy Romano, Albert Romano, and Dennis Romano; and many other dear family members.

Philip was deeply loved by his family and friends. His kindness, life lessons, and unwavering friendship will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy will live on through the love he shared and the countless lives he touched.

He was loved by many, and the love, lessons, and friendship he shared will be carried on for generations.
