Rebecca (Becky) J.  (McAllister) Tropf

On November 28, 2025, Becky Tropf, age 75, entered into eternal rest. She is now at peace, free of pain and suffering.

She was born in Warren, Ohio during the great snowstorm of 1950, the daughter of deceased parents Elmos Dale McAllister and Marjorie (Haynie) McAllister. She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert and Richard. Her surviving sister is Linda Sue Hamel of Detroit Michigan. Her husband of 51 years, Gene Tropf and her fur baby companion Jazz, also survive.

Her infectious smile and warm demeanor will always be remembered.

In 2012 Becky retired from St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, Ohio after 40 years of service. Shortly

thereafter she moved to The Villages Florida.

Becky was a 1968 graduate of Champion High School. As a teen she was a fixture at Champion Rollarena, which is where she met her future husband Gene, who was the organist.

Her favorite passion in life was golfing. Over the years she played in many leagues, tournaments, outings and with family and friends. Even with her declining health, she still managed to play several times a week. Of course there was birdie juice.

There will be no Services. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery, Cortland, Ohio.
