Roberta (Robbin) Killingsworth, 70, joined her husband of 50 years Ronny for eternal sunsets and hand holding on November 18th, 2025. She was born to John Robert (Bob) and Mary Lue (Noel) Preston on June 1st, 1955 in Kansas City, Kansas.

Robbin graduated from Washington High School in 1973. She earned her degree upon graduation from Kansas City Kansas Community College. She worked as a Registered Nurse with various roles in Labor and Delivery and the NICU at Shawnee Mission Medical Center until Florida's warm weather and beaches called her and Ronny there in 2007. She then worked as an RN in the NICU at Golisano Children's Hospital of SW Florida until her retirement in 2021.

Robbin never met a person that didn't consider her a friend. She touched countless lives being a calming influence and reliable go-to for families dealing with the trauma of having a newborn baby in the NICU. Her compassion and dedication led to her being a natural mentor for nurses just getting into the field as well as experienced nurses that benefited from her knowledge. She loved her Kansas City Chiefs and was known to mumble some choice words under her breath if someone dared to call her on Sundays during a Chiefs game. She was well-versed and knowledgeable on Florida's best-kept secrets and was often considered visitor's personal tour guide and travel planner for all things Southwest Florida has to offer.

Robbin is survived by her father; Bob Preston of Shawnee, KS; her children; son, Brendon (Tanya) Killingsworth of Cape Coral, FL; daughter, Meggan (Joe) Donham of Hutchinson, KS; daughter, Kelly (Allen) Roepka of Hutchinson, KS; son, Ryan (Ashley) Killingsworth of Shawnee, KS; sister, Rebecca (Roger) Bell of Kansas City, KS; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren along with many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Killingsworth and mother, Mary Lue Preston.

A celebration of life will be held on Fort Myers Beach in January and in Kansas City this Spring.
