Obituary

Roberta Ann Sibley Leblanc (Robbie), born March 22, 1940, in Barre, Vermont, passed away on November 10, 2025.

A dedicated and accomplished professional, Roberta served as a General Manager and Comptroller in the automotive industry for many decades, earning numerous awards and recognition throughout her career.

Roberta was passionate about her hobbies, including golf—where she scored two hole-in-one shots—and playing mahjong with friends. She was creatively inclined, enjoying activities such as jigsaw puzzles, ceramics, and interior decorating. An avid entertainer, she loved hosting gatherings and creating warm, welcoming environments for family and friends.

Her family was the center of her life. She cherished Sunday dinners and playing cards with loved ones. Known for her vibrant personality and unwavering determination, Roberta faced challenges with resilience and perseverance. She was a role model to many, highly respected, and an inspiration to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious compassion left a lasting impact on those around her.

Roberta was actively involved in numerous community organizations. She was a longtime member and officer of the Kings Ridge Women's Club, where she chaired many charitable events and participated in holiday home tours supporting local charities. She organized and led breast cancer golf tournaments and the Monday Morning Mulligans for several years. Additionally, she enthusiastically organized multiple mahjong groups.

She is survived by her husband, Richard LeBlanc; her children, Terry Edgecomb (and his wife Karen), Debbie Hutchinson (and her husband Michael); stepsons Keith LeBlanc (and his partner Sylvia Furst) and Kevin LeBlanc (and his wife Mary Jane); as well as three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Roberta was preceded in death by her son, Brian Edgecomb, and her siblings Clarice Rodier, Paula Cervone, Sharon Colby, and her twin brother Ronald Sibley.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 30, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at The View at Clermont National, 2602 Diamond Club Drive, Clermont, FL 34711. Please contact 352-227-3533 for more information.
