Obituary

Roswitha Provoncha, 93, of Edgewater, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025.

Born on December 11, 1931, in Breslau, Germany, Roswitha lived through World War II, emerging as a survivor with enduring strength, grace, and resilience that would come to define her life. Her devotion to her family stands as a testament to her courage and perseverance. She was married to Melvin Provoncha and is survived by her children Andre and Michelle; grandchildren Connor, Madison, and Clare; great-grandchildren Scarlet and Violet.

Roswitha built upon her German education and excelled in Business School in Orlando. Her successful career in banking culminated in management at Bank of America- she loved her clients and was very proud to help them in any way.

She was actively involved in church activities, most notably as Treasurer and supported Elliot's Song which provides free music education to pre-schoolers.

Roswitha will be lovingly remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed for her voice, hugs, style, laughter, jokes, cooking, and stories.

A funeral will be held December 26 at 1pm at Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery followed by a celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations to Elliot's Song or charity of your choice are welcome.
