Sandra E. Metz, 71, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025, in Ormond Beach, Florida. Born on March 16, 1954, in Bellaire, Ohio, Sandra was the beloved daughter of the late Richard and Irene Taylor.

Sandra built a rewarding career as an Environmental Manager, a role that reflected her deep care for the world around her. Outside of her professional life, she had a true passion for home design and remodeling, a creative outlet where her energetic spirit and eye for beauty shone brightly.

Known for her warm heart, infectious energy, and unwavering kindness, Sandra was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her joyful presence lit up every room, and her ability to make others feel cared for and seen was one of her most beautiful gifts.

Sandra shared a remarkable 52-year marriage with the love of her life, John G. Metz III. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Though they had no children, their bond was one of deep companionship and devotion.

She loved socializing and spending time with her many friends, especially during her treasured "Ladies Nights." She was an active and loved member of both the Royal Atlantic Condo Group and the Charter Oil Group, where she formed lifelong friendships and shared in countless moments of joy.

Sandra is survived by her devoted husband, John G. Metz III. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Irene Taylor.

Sandra was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. Her kindness, laughter, and light will remain in our hearts forever.
