Shelley passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, and resided in The Villages, FL. She was born in Ballston Spa, NY on February 20, 1953. She was the oldest daughter of Russell and Myrtle Thomas of Ballston Spa, NY. She was a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, and attended college in Albany, NY earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Management. She loved the beach and enjoyed travelling and living in Florida with her friends. While living in Rhode Island, she worked for Electric Boat as a Purchasing/Sourcing Supervisor supporting the construction of various submarines. Her love of entertainment brought her back to upstate New York and into a management position at The Palace Theatre where she retired in 2019. She is survived by her sister, Jill (Lawrence) Willey; nephews Patrick Willey and Thomas (Kim) Willey; and seven great nephews and nieces. Thomas and Patrick held a very special place in her heart, and she cherished the interactions with them through the years. She also enjoyed times with her cousins Scott Thomas, Lauren Thomas Rose, and Suzanne Thomas. Shelley's funeral service will be private and in accordance with her written wishes. Memorial contributions, in memory of Shelley, may be made to Christ Episcopal Church in Ballston Spa, NY.
