Our beautiful mother, Shirley Deloris Lucas, passed away on December 14, 2025 at the age of 83 in New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Throughout our lives, she was a source of wisdom, comfort, humor, and unconditional love.

Shirley was born and raised in Big Creek, West Virginia with 7 other siblings. She moved to Indiana where she married Ideal Baldoni II and started a family. Her family then moved to New York before ultimately settling in Florida in 1973.

She had a career as a legal assistant for over 40 years and enjoyed baking, quilting and gardening. She always had a home that was filled with good food, laughter, and a cat or two.

She is predeceased by her son, Ideal Baldoni III, and leaves behind son Gino Baldoni, son Mario Baldoni, and daughter-in-law Vicky Baldoni, whom she loved as her own.

We will have a Celebration of Life on January 25 ^th , 2026 at the Diamond L Venue located at 3530 LeFils Lane, Deltona, FL 32738 from 12-3. We invite all family and friends to join us if you are able. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Southeast Volusia Humane Society in her memory.
