Stanley J. Moraski, Jr., age 75, of Lady Lake, Florida, known affectionately as Sonny to his friends and loved ones, tragically passed away on August 3, 2025, due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.  Born on December 28, 1949 in Baltimore City, Maryland, Sonny was the beloved husband of Christine Moraski (nee Skarupa); the loving son of the late Stanley J. Moraski, Sr. and the late Cecilia Moraski; the loving brother of Patricia Cieslak, John Moraski and the late Carolyn Wysocki.

A proud United States Air Force veteran, Sonny served his country with honor and distinction. His dedication to duty was matched only by his devotion to his community, which he demonstrated through his subsequent service as a Baltimore City Deputy Sheriff. His colleagues remember him as a man of integrity and valor, ever ready to extend a helping hand.

Sonny and Christine had passion for fishing and crabbing from their shore home in Edgemere, Maryland. Their days spent on the water were moments of tranquility and reflection that they treasured deeply. These pastimes also served as a conduit for bonding, creating lasting memories that will be cherished.

Sonny's most cherished moments spent cruising with his beloved wife Christine. Together, they explored the open seas and reveled in the joy of discovery and adventure. These voyages were not only a testament to their shared love of travel but also a reflection of their enduring love for one another. The memories created during these journeys will remain a treasured legacy for all who knew them.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 7081 SE Hwy 42, Summerfield, FL, 34491.
