Suzanne Hillbauer went home to be with our Lord on November 8, 2025.  A true Florida native, Sue was born in Miami, FL on July 13, 1946.  Raising her family as a homemaker for decades, she later worked as an elementary school aid in Marion County and at the University of Florida Foundation.  Sue is preceded in death by her husband, William C. Hillbauer Jr., and her parents, Carl and Mildred Scheerer.  She is survived by her five children:  Darlene Skidmore (Robert), Jennifer Robinson (Richard), Kimberly Castro (Ricardo), Suzie Rizzardi (Keith), and Kurt Hillbauer (Ashli).  Though she loved her family fiercely, Sue's greatest love was being Granny to Ashley Love, Victoria Keene, Mackenzie Overfelt, Will Rizzardi, Lily Rizzardi, and Ava Rizzardi.  Her great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Georgia, Avery, and James, completed her joy.

Time to rest and rejoice in the arms of the Savior, Mom.  You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith.

Sue will be laid to rest beside Billy at a graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery (3260 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135) on December 20, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
