Ole Preben Hirshals, 83, of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on December 14, 2017 at the Hope Hospice. He was born on August 30, 1934 in Frederikshavn, Denmark to the late Svend Aage Christian Hirshals and Rosa Viktoria Adelheid Ahlberg Hirshals. He worked as a Welder/Machinist and he was a member of the AMVETS. He earned his master Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ole played the keyboard in numerous bands, he enjoyed making things, was an avid boater, and when he was younger he was a competition tennis player. He is survived by his wife, Lorna Hirshals; his sons, Michael and Eric Hirshals; his son, Aaron Shannon; his stepson, Clint Sparks; his stepdaughter, Paula Sparks Venditto; his step brothers and sisters, Brorn, Gunild, Finn, Kaare, Thore, Runa, and Janne; and his step grandchildren, Robert, Ashley, Ana, Avery, and Mercy Ann. Arrangements are under the care and trust of Affordable Cremations by Baldwin Brothers.
