Orin Jay Canfield of Ocala passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Orin was born in Meadville, PA on October 18, 1948, to William A. Canfield and Shirley R. McBride Canfield. Orin graduated from Meadville High School and joined the Navy from 1968 to 1970. After serving on the ESS America Aircraft carrier he moved to Canton, North Carolina. He worked in the family auto repair, dairy bar, and paint store. Orin moved to Ocala, Florida in 1983. He operated his own handyman business and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Orin was a long-standing member of Berean Baptist Church of Ocala. He is predeceased by his parents and life partner Patricia Largin. He is survived by a sister Darlene Bedwell, cousins, many friends, and roommate Carolyn Largin.

A church service will be held at Berean Baptist Church Florida located 4800 SW 20th St, Ocala, FL 34474 on Sunday April 14, 2024 at 6:00PM.

On Tuesday April 16, 2024 at 1:30PM there will be Military Honors at Florida National Cemetery located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
