Orlander C Scellato, On June 13, 2015 Major Orlander Charles Scellato, who retired in 1988 from the Norfolk Virginia Police Department after a distinguished 45 years career passed away peacefully at his home in The Villages Florida surrounded by his wife Gloria Jean and daughter Bonnie Jean Hammett. Major Scellato was a paratrooper and a medic during World War Two. He leaves behind his loving wife Gloria Jean, his daughter Bonnie Jean Hammett and his son Daniel C. Scellato, his stepdaughter Angela Payne and five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral to be held in Norfolk Virginia and arrangements will be announced at a later date
