In Loving Memory of Ottavio Anthony Marmora April 23, 1932 – June 24, 2025

It is with deep love and respect that we announce the passing of Ottavio Marmora, who left this world peacefully, surrounded by the devoted care of his daughter Cheryl Ann Davis and son-in-law Harold Davis and the loving thoughts of Ottavio Jr., Donnamarie and John.

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Ottavio was a man of unwavering values, gentle strength, and dignity. He proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954, and was recognized for Outstanding Achievement during Operation Castle, a historic atomic testing program in 1954. "Otto" as he was known to family and friends was a proud veteran and active participant in the V.A.

Following his service, Otto built a life anchored in hard work, family and friends. As the owner and operator of a garment factory in Perth Amboy and Hoboken, New Jersey, Otto exemplified dedication and perseverance to build a successful business including pattern making for women's and children's clothing. Otto enjoyed sharing stories about his life experiences which included humor and a bit of embellishment. Otto and his beloved late wife, Concetta Marmora, raised their family in Manalapan, New Jersey, instilling in them a legacy of love, family and devotion.

Ottavio was predeceased by Concetta, his loving wife, and by 9 siblings. He is survived by his cherished sister, Lydia Solari and her husband Allen and many nieces and nephews. Otto leaves behind his loving children: Donnamarie (Marmora) and husband Michael Bavaro, Cheryl Ann (Marmora) and husband Harold Davis, Ottavio A. Marmora Jr. and wife Devi, John Marmora, and wife ToniAnn . Otto's loving grandchildren: Travis Marmora, Gina Carbone (Abel), Connie Johnson(Robert)T.J. Loftus (Kim), Michael Bavaro Ill( MaryAnne), Johnny Marmora (Erin), and Dylan Marmora; and his great-grandchildren: Robert, Luke, Emilia, Aria, Audrina, Nicholas, Nova and Mavis.

In his final years, Otto made his home with Cheryl, Harold and their furry friend Elvis where he was surrounded by constant care and warmth. His enduring kindness, character, and devotion to his family will continue to inspire all who knew him.

We would like to thank his loving care givers from Home Away From Home in Lehigh Acres, Florida and all the loving hospice nurses.

He will be missed beyond measure and remembered with gratitude and love.

Celebration of life services will be held privately in the near future.

Baldwin Brothers is honored to serve the family.
