Obituary

Pamela Jane (Beasley) Painer, 73 years old, of Ormond Beach, FL, a beloved friend, companion, relative and neighbor, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Born and raised in Knoxville, TN, she moved, along with her mother, to the Daytona Beach area in 1969 and was a 1970 graduate of Seabreeze High School. She later married John Painer and became successful in the hotel industry, eventually owning several popular beachfront establishments.

Those who knew Pam appreciated her work ethic, her compassion for animals, which included volunteer work at Halifax Humane Society, her devotion to her friends and family and all of their children, her generous spirit and delightful sense of humor.

For the past ten years, Pam faced significant health challenges. While this journey was difficult, she was able to live comfortably and with dignity, largely due to the extraordinary care of her dedicated caregiver and loving friend, Bob Ryan.

Pam was preceded in death by her father, William Leslie Beasley of Franklin, TN and her mother, Elsie Henrietta (Childress) Beasley of Knoxville, TN and her niece, Barbara Geyer, Ormond beach, FL.

Pam was also preceded in death by her beloved dog, CoCo, who passed away just a month before her.

Pam is survived by her loving cousins, Vickie McGaha (Dennis) and Lyndia Foster (David), both of Knoxville, TN.

Pam is also survived by her cousin Lyndia Foster's children, Laurie Foster Halsey, Jonathan Foster and Eric Foster and her cousin Vicky McGaha's children, Suzanne McGaha Holbert, Scott McGaha and Justin McGaha and Pam's great nephews, Derek & Blake Geyer.

Pam had many friends and family who will miss her dearly:

Bob Ryan, Arian Ryan (Susan Hecht), and their sons, Rohan and Kiernan. Betty & Gary Hallenbeck, Joy Murdoch, LA Robinson, Paula Estridge and her sons, Dillon and Robert Estridge and Fina Nonnemacher and Liz Nonnemacher.

Pam will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loving family and friends.
