Ms. Parrie Foster, 79, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. She was born in Ocala, Fl and lived here all of her life. She worked in childhood development with Marion County School Board, and operated her own daycare center before retiring. Parrie's greatest legacy is her half-century of ministry and her unwaivering devotion to Jesus Christ. For over 50 years, she served as a pillar of faith for her church sisters and brothers, offering a wellspring of spiritual wisdom. To her family, she was more than a matriach; she was a teacher who embodied the life of Jesus Christ in everything she did, leaving behind a roadmap of faith for generations to follow.

She is survived by her 4 daughters; Cheryl Foster-Williams (Gregory), Candi Dukes (Jerome), Charlotte Foster (Calvin), & Tina Carr, 3 sons Vonterrio Smith (Tonya), Travis Foster, and Joseph Rolle (Pamela), grandchildren; Cherrelle, Brittany, and Portia, Brooke, Raini, and Rachel, Whittni and Winston, Christine, Caitlyn and Joshua, great-grandchildren; JaLeah, Antonio Jr, Jordan Jr, Elkanah Jr, and Gia, Rylie, Princeton and Legend, Aubri, Alexandria, and Christian. Also survived by her 2 sisters; Betty Newson and Verona Porter (Clydus), 1 brother Roosevelt Overstreet Jr (Helen), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Parrie was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Willie Foster Jr, whom she loved dearly, her parents Roosevelt and Mariah Overstreet, sisters Almazine, Patricia, Geraldine, and her brother George.

Arrangements are in progress and will be available shortly.
