Pasquale "Pat" Marcello, 83, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 in Venice, Florida.  Pat is survived by his girlfriend, Dee, children; Tom and wife Angie, Patty and husband Terry, Denise and husband Chris, Nancy and husband Keith, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, niece and nephews, cousins, friends, close neighbors, and his fire department brothers.

Born in New York City, Pat was a rambunctious youth, who enjoyed getting into "mischief" with his friends, many of whom were still close friends at the time of his passing.  He was a star lacrosse player during his high school years, retaining a love for the sport throughout his life.  Pat faithfully served his country in the army and in the New York City Fire Department (FDNY), retiring as a Lieutenant.  He was also a successful small business owner after his career as a public servant.

Even after his retirement from the FDNY, Pat maintained his close connection to the fire department, staying active in the fire community.  Upon moving to Florida, Pat became active with the FDNY Suncoast Florida Retirees and the American Legion.

Pat had a love for life.  He loved spending time with friends, boating, golfing, and driving his big trucks, reliving his fire department days.  He had a kind soul, who made an impact on everyone he met.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 at 10:30am.
