Pat E Harris was born 7/2/1943 at home in Harlan, Indiana and passed away on 3/4/2025 at Osprey Nursing Home. He was on hospice care. He fought Parkinson's disease for 28 years, and always with a positive attitude. Pat went to Heaven to be with the Lord. He was a member of Live Oak Community Church in The Villages. He was really looking forward to being able to run again in Heaven. Pat always had an optimistic outlook about life. His actions showed his love for his wife Sally Harris of 42 years and his adult kids: Greta Boes, Nikki Hoeppner, Scott Bowers, Brian Bowers, and Kim Eicher (deceased) and his grandkids and great grandkids. Pat worked at General Electric for 25 years as Accounting Sales Manager. Prior to retiring he was an Accounting Manager for Division of Children Services for the State of Indiana. Pat also spent 25 years as an IRS enrolled agent preparing taxes. He loved his tax work because he got great joy from helping others. Pat loved to golf with his friends in Belvedere Village neighborhood golf league. He was very proud of his two holes in one. A Celebration of Life/Open House will be held on Saturday, June 14, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Blue Lake Community Center, Churubusco, Indiana.
