Obituary

Patricia Anne Brewbaker (née Levesque), age 88, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, in Summerfield, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Georgopoulos; her brother, Ronald Levesque; and her parents, Alfred and Sylvia Levesque. Patricia-known to many as Pat-lived a full and vibrant life marked by an immense love of family, creativity, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering commitment to Christ.

Born on June 9, 1937, in Nashua, New Hampshire, she moved with her family to Riviera Beach, Florida, in the early 1950s. She attended Palm Beach Junior High School and graduated from Palm Beach High School.

Pat embraced a wide array of roles throughout her life, always with energy and determination.

Her professional journey included working at the Port of Palm Beach and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. She was a talented dress designer and seamstress in Jupiter, Florida, and owned the Village Restaurant in Tequesta. She also worked as a court reporter in Palm Beach and Broward Counties and later founded Creative Fashions by Patty Ann, a business that grew to include four stores in the Kennebunkport, Maine area and another in Fort Myers, Florida.

In every venture, Pat brought ingenuity, passion, and a can-do spirit that inspired all who knew her. Known for her outgoing nature and innate ability to connect with people from all walks of life, Pat was someone others turned to when things needed to get done. A jack of all trades, she reinvented her career more than once and was a loyal friend to many.

Her Christian faith was central to her life. Pat found strength and joy through Bible study and fellowship, and her devotion to God was a guiding force throughout her years.

She also had a creative soul and loved painting especially in the Donna Dewberry style. Her artwork and her willingness to share her talents with others added beauty and meaning to the lives she touched.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, John Brewbaker; her daughters: Demetria McKaig (Jensen Beach, FL & Kennebunk, ME), Cathy Ruth (Columbus, NC), Mary Beth Bliss (Bonita Springs, FL), and Amy McLendon (Franklin, TN); step-son John (JB) Brewbaker (Jupiter, FL); and step-daughter Diana Holland (Jupiter, FL). She was a proud "Ya-Ya" to 13 grandchildren and an even prouder "Gigi" to 14 great-grandchildren.

Patricia Ann Brewbaker's legacy is one of resilience, warmth, faith, and tireless dedication. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
