Patricia Ann (Piescik) Burnham passed away peacefully on Saturday February 8, 2025 while in Hospice Care in Summerfield FL. Born in Rockville CT on June 30, 1943 to Stephen G. and Sophia M. (Blotnitski) Piescik Sr., Pat was a 1961 graduate of Rockville High School in Vernon CT.
After graduation Pat got a job at Calvin Ford in East Hartford. Over her lifetime she worked many years in either the automotive industry in the office or in retail sales and management. Among her other employers were Fenton (Enfield) Ford, Artioli Dodge AMC, Fiore (Medeiros) Oldsmobile, Lia Nissan, all in Connecticut and Bill Bryan Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Florida from where she retired in 2020. She also worked at JC Penney's and Steiger's in Enfield.
She grew up in Rockville and lived there until moving to Enfield in 1969. After 36 years in Enfield she relocated to Lady Lake FL where she remained the rest of her life.
She had many hobbies over years including cake decorating, gardening, playing the piano, reading, crosswords, coloring and was a former Den Mother with Cub Scout Pack 108 in Enfield CT. Patty also loved orchids and butterflies.
She leaves behind two sons, Richard S. (Rick) Burnham and Douglas S. (Doug) Burnham both of Lady Lake FL with whom she made her home. She also leaves her former husband Richard S. (Spencer) Burnham and his wife Sandra of Manchester CT, two grandsons John P. (Jack) Burnham of Stafford CT and Mark S. Burnham of East Windsor CT, her godchildren Stephen M. Piescik of Somers CT, Michelle Bahler of Ellington CT as well as many in laws, nephews, cousins, countless friends and co-workers. She was predeceased by her brother Stephen G. Piescik Jr and her sister-in-law Irene M. (Saternis) Piescik.
Per her requests there will be no services and the family will hold Celebrations of her Life at their convenience in both Florida and Connecticut. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice in her name. Arrangements entrusted with BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 352-430-1449.
