Obituary

It is with immense sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Patricia "Pat" (Moles) Clark , 82, on May 19, 2025 in Ocala, FL. She was born on January 19, 1943 in Colorado; oldest daughter of Harry and Laura (Mitchell) Moles. She grew up primarily in New Jersey where she met her future husband, Jim, in 1963. Pat was united in marriage to Jim Clark on April 25, 1965, surpassing 59 years as husband and wife before his passing a year ago.

Pat began her working career in various clerical positions and ultimately found a home working retail sales, primarily with K-mart and Macy's, until her retirement in 2015. Her free time was largely consumed with any activities involving her family or friends. She loved cooking large meals and seeing those close to her enjoying each other's company. She celebrated her children and grandchildren as much as possible by attending countless sporting events, dance recitals, chorus performances, graduations, weddings, birthdays and baby showers. An extremely kind and social person, she helped her friends and neighbors by collecting their mail, shuttling them to the store and baking her infamous chocolate chip cookies for them. With her selfless personality, she always made sure everyone felt valued, seen and appreciated for taking their time to enjoy family. Her warm and inviting personality will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.

Pat is survived by her sister, Barbara (Leo) Griffin; daughter Deborah (Dwayne) Foreman, sons Joseph Clark, Stephen (Kelly) Clark and William Clark; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren with an 8th on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Laura Moles; her sister, Beverly (Steve) Shaffer; and her husband, Jim Clark.

A memorial gathering is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3 at the Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society at 954 E Silver Springs Blvd in Ocala, FL. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Humane Society to recognize Pat's lifelong love of all things "cats".
