Patricia Crosby Cornell 83 of Palo Alto The Villages passed Thursday July 28, 2016 at Cornerstone Hospice House The Villages.  Formally from Miami Fl. and Clarkesville Ga., she resided in The Villages for the past 5 yrs. Born August 12, 1933 in Aniston Al. the daughter of Clifford and Kathleen Gunn Crosby and moved to Miami when she was 3.  Graduated from Edison High School in 1948 and married her high school sweetheart Donald B. Cornell Sr. in 1950. She was employed for many years as a dental assistant in South Fl.  she was a loving, devoted wife and mother, grandmother, and  great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband.  She is survived by her daughter Sherri Cornell Martin, sons Donald B. Cornell Jr. and Michael P. Cornell. 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren and her adored and loved companion/ soul mate of 5 years Donald H Whitling of Palo Alto The Villages.  A private memorial / celebration of life will be held at a later date at her mountain home in Clayton Ga.
