Patricia Louise Fehl, 86, of Fort Myers passed away on June 23, 2026 peacefully at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, Florida. She was born on March 5, 1940 in Sellersville, Pennsylvania to Dorothy Ruth (Freed) and John Frederick Fehl. Pat grew up in the beautiful country village of Blooming Glen, PA attending school in the one room school house. She lived most of her life in Pennsylvania until moving to Fort Myers in 2015.

Pat went to night school while working full-time to received her bachelor’s degree from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA and then enjoyed her long career an administrator of medical education lecture programs, reluctantly retiring at age 75. In her free time, she especially loved to travel, seeing much of the world and she loved to spend time in her garden. While living in Harleysville, her last Pennsylvania residence, during the warm weather she could be found tending her flowers until late in the evening. Once moving to Florida that gardening interest shifted to orchids in every sunny window.

Pat is survived by her daughter Janet and son-in-law Jeff Hathaway, who with she spent many enjoyable days exploring the Fort Myers area. She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy (Doug) Denbow, nephew Jeremy (Sarah) Barlow and niece Jessica (Mike) DeJorge. She is further survived by her grand niece and nephew along with many dear friends. She is predeceased by her late husband and love of her life, Kenneth Walmer.

She will be deeply missed by those who knew her and had the chance to share part of her beautiful life with her.
