Patricia Joan Akright Fisher, aged 86, of Pierson, Florida, went home peacefully to be with our Lord in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 7,2026, while in the loving arms of her daughter, Angelique Fisher.

Pat was born on August 2nd,1939 in Galesburg, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Leonard Dewitt Akright and Margaret Sonja Applegren, sister Donna Jean Akright Pedigo, & brother Walter LeRoy Akright, her beloved husband of 53 years, Charles Michael Fisher, and sons, Michael Eugene & Mathew Eric Fisher.

She is survived by her children, Marc Edward Fisher, Angelique Marie Fisher, and stepson Rev. Shaun Miles, 6 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, 5 nieces & 1 nephew.

She was an avid horse lover and brought 2 of them from PA when they moved to Florida, where they lived happily for the rest of their lives. Along with her husband Mike, she also raised Champion line Irish Setters while living in Pennsylvania & Dobermans in Florida. Animals were always so dear to her heart. She also loved plants and flowers which were adorning their home of near half a century.

Her ashes will be interred along with those of her husband in a family plot at a later date to be determined by her children. A private celebration of life will be with immediate family only and another one for friends and extended family at the family's discretion.
