Patricia Ann Freeland passed away on June 10th, 2026 in Venice, FL. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 22, 1935 to Francis J. and Ann O. (Balazs) McDermott.

She worked in real estate and marketing. Patricia enjoyed writing, cooking, painting and long beach days.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Morris J Freeland, who was her true soul mate. She is deeply missed by their five children, Timothy and wife Lori, Edward and wife Janine, Jeffrey and wife Cindy, Scott and wife Cathy and daughter Karyn and husband Scott and 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, her brother Dan McDermott and wife Faith and sister Fran Copeland. Sister JoAnn Cryoskie preceded her in death.

She will be greatly missed for her entrepreneurial spirit and optimistic embellishments!
