Patricia M. Groves, 83, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on February 27, 2020 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, FL. She was born on May 3, 1936 in Kokomo, IN to the late Charles and Mabel (Huntsberger) Newkirk. Patricia was a homemaker, and she was a member of the Kokomo Art Society and the China Painting Club in Kokomo. She enjoyed painting, traveling, spending time at the lake cottage, and spending time with her family. Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, whom she married on June 28, 1958 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Lloyd A. Groves of Cape Coral, FL; her son, Jeff Groves and his wife Jenny of Kokomo, IN; her granddaughter, Anna Groves; and her grandson, Noah Gale. She was preceded in death by her siblings, John Newkirk, Betty Newkirk, and Mary Pittman. A Mass celebrating the life of Patricia will be held at a later date.
