Patricia Gay
Larsen
May 24, 1932 — Jun 29, 2026
Patricia (Pat) G. Larsen, beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,
and friend to many, was welcomed into heaven on June 29th, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Ruth Molnar, sister Ruth Ryan, former
husband Ernie Larsen, grandson Dane Larsson, and father of her children Walter Johnson.
She is survived by three children; Todd (Debbera) Johnson, Kristi Larsson, and Scott
Johnson, grandchildren; Ky (Elizabeth) Larsson, Nikole Larsson, Allison (Aaron) Bottoms,
and Tessa Johnson, along with three great-grandchildren.
One of her happiest moments in life was becoming a great-grandmother, always referring
to her great-grandchildren as “her babies”.
Pat had simple pleasures; including reading, watching her soap operas, and falling asleep
listening to Coast-to-Coast radio. She enjoyed warm sunshine, had a sweet tooth, and will
always be remembered for her contagious smile and laughter.
She was an amazing storyteller who dreamed big. Her honesty kept life interesting while
her desire never to be bored led to adventure. If you asked, her weekend plans always
included “drinking and dancing” which perfectly reflected her spunk and sense of humor.
Pat was fascinated with the afterlife, often talking to those who went before her, and
welcoming their visits. She told her loved ones that when she died, she would come back
as a butterfly.
Above all, Pat was loved “from the top of the world to the bottom of the ocean” and dearly
missed.
Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death,
so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that
Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have
fallen asleep in him.
Thessalonians 4:13-14
