After a valiant 3+ year battle against pancreatic cancer, Patricia Ann Messick passed away on 17 September 2023 at the age of 77 at Tidewell Hospice Center in Venice, Florida.

Pat was a devoted wife to her husband Bill for 56 years. She was the loving Mother of 2 very caring sons Scott and Brian and their wives Amanda and Susan; the grandmother to Marek and Radek Homer.  She was very close to her sisters Marge Hardester and Bernadette Greaver, and she dearly loved her extended family.  Brother Herbie and parents Anna and Herbert Brown are deceased.

Patricia Ann Brown was born and raised in Baltimore, MD.  She attended Patterson High School and then married William T Messick. She held jobs as an office clerk and in computer support before running the Messick household.  Later she provided in-home daycare and then managed medical records for a doctor's office.  After 31 years in Columbia, MD, she and her husband retired to Ocean Pines, MD.  In 2014 they moved to Venice Florida for the warmth and new adventures.  Along the way she left her mark, making lifelong friends and including everyone in happy hours and social activities, bringing out the inner teenager in all.  She was always physically active either in the gym or getting her groove on doing Zumba for the exercise and socializing with friends.

Pat was always thinking of others above herself. She left her mark caring for her family and friends whenever they did or didn't know they needed it. Her greatest pride in life was being a loving wife, mother and sister in an amazing family. Ohana

Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society is handling arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
