Patricia (Pat) Ann Perry was born on August 18,1954 to Walter and Amy Outerbridge. She was a vibrant, funny person who also spoke her mind. Her personality was infectious and anyone who met her was instantly drawn to her. Her people became lifelong friends.a
Pat was educated through New York City Catholic and Public schools. In High School, she was an avid volleyball player; she was industrious and worked as a Cashier and did babysitting. After graduation from High School, she went to work for TIAA (an investment company) where she elevated herself through the ranks.
In 1973, she married her childhood sweetheart, James Perry. Their union produced one child. Later, she and husband divorced. In 1985, Pat relocated to Columbia, South Carolina. She found employment at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of South Carolina. She worked there until she became disabled in 2005. Following a severe medical condition, she moved to New Jersey to recover with her sister, Sharon and family. In 2010, Pat moved to Palm Coast and later Madison Glen (a senior community) in Ormond Beach. It was there that she found Strong Tower Christian Fellowship Church and she totally embraced Pastor and First Lady Davis and the welcoming congregation. At Madison Glen, she made many friends and they bonded over pot-luck barbecues, playing games and listening to oldies music. These friendships continued even when she moved to Daytona Beach. Throughout the years, her medical issues increased and she became more handicapped. However, she never let her physical condition dampen her spirit. She knew the Lord and she depended on Him. She loved to go out and try new restaurants and visits with her family and friends. Pat truly loved her Brother in law, Melvin Waring who predeceased her last year. She often spoke of her fondness for him.
Patricia Ann Perry leaves to mourn, her Sister, Sharon Waring (Melvin), Brother, Edward (Stan) Outerbridge, her Daughter, Ikeisha Perry, Grandson, Deshawn Perry (Jameka), Grandchildren: Christian, Carmen, Londyn and Peyton and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends.
My Sister, Patricia Ann Perry you will be truly missed!
