IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Helen
Polsgrove
March 26, 1930 – April 4, 2024
Patricia Helen Polsgrove (nee Anderson), 94, was called home by her Lord on Thursday, April 4, in Ocala, Florida. She was born in Antioch, Illinois, where she was salutatorian of her class at Antioch High School and married her high school sweetheart, R. Wayne Polsgrove. She was a devoted wife and mother. Active in her church and community, she taught Sunday School for 20 years and was a Past Matron of the Antioch chapter of the Eastern Star.
After her children were school-aged, Pat worked at Erickson's Sewing Center becoming an accomplished seamstress making most of her daughters' clothing, including all their wedding dresses.
After Wayne's retirement, they moved to Ocala, Florida, where they were active members of Ocala West United Methodist Church. Recreationally, they bowled, square-danced, played cards, and traveled extensively. Pat was also a frequent visitor at Oak Run's bingo games.
Pat is survived by her four children: Dianne, Janet, Barbara (Lee), and Michael (Darlene); five grandchildren Jeffrey (Nancy), Patrick (Deanna), Rachel (Tim), Matthew (River), and Sara (Nathan); and two great-grandchildren, Lucy and Josiah.
She was preceded in death by Wayne, her husband of 67 years, her son-in-law, John, and two grandchildren, Rebekah and David.
Pat had a deep Christian faith and now rests in the arms of Jesus.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Make-A-Wish or St. Jude's Hospital.
