Patricia Ruth Miller, of New Smyrna Beach, FL died on October 26, 2013. Patricia was born in St. Joseph, MI and resided in Niles, MI until moving to New Smyrna Beach in 1976. Patricia married George "Sparky" Miller in 1951 and was married to him for 37 years until his death in 1988. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother throughout her entire lifetime. Patricia was a "people person" who enjoyed watching and talking to everyone she met. Patricia was an avid walker and loved working in her yard. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Guy and Ruth Heim. She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Kimberly McCrory (Bruce), Carmen Miller, Mary Miller, and Kip Miller; her grandchildren, Caroline and Max Miller and her faithful four legged companion Archy. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the Southeast Volusia Humane Society, 1200 S. Glencoe Rd., New Smyrna Beach, FI. 32168 or Halifax Health - Hospice of Volusia Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange, FL 32129. Patricia will be laid to rest beside her husband and parents at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Berrien Springs, Michigan following a graveside service. Patricia Miller touched the lives of so many people that this world will never be the same without her.
