Patricia E. Ventura, devoted wife and mother, and long-time resident of Ormond Beach, passed away after a battle with cancer on Friday, September 3, 2021. She was 85 years old.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Peter J. Ventura, Sr., and her two sons, Peter J. Ventura, Jr. and Anthony E. Ventura. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda J. Bickmeyer and Patricia Ann Carico, both of Ormond Beach, FL, her four grandchildren, Kerri Lynn Carder of Charlotte, NC, Jessica J. Bickmeyer of Ormond Beach, FL, Lindsay L. Dabrowski of Laguna Beach, CA, and Samuel Ventura Carico of Ormond Beach, FL, and three great-grandchildren.

Patricia was born in Chicago, IL, and moved to Florida with her husband Peter and their four children in 1972. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church for over 20 years and volunteered at the Prince of Peace thrift store. She was an excellent cook and made beautiful quilts and blankets for her family and friends.

Patricia is dearly loved by her family and friends, and she will always be in our hearts and memories.
