Patrick Michael Malley, 79, passed away on February 26, 2026.

Born on September 21, 1946, in California, Patrick was raised in the West End of Sheraden, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Holy Innocents High School in 1964. Following high school, he began the Plumbers Local 27 apprentice program. Soon after, he volunteered for the draft and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

During his service in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969, Patrick worked as a helicopter maintenance man and door gunner. He survived being shot down twice during the Tet Offensive, demonstrating his courage and resilience. After returning home, he devoted more than 35 years to Plumbers Local 27, working hard to provide for his family.

On September 10, 2005, he married Carol Jones. They made their home in Fort Myers, Florida, where they shared many years together. He enjoyed spending time at home with their beloved dog Hazel, whom he adored, especially when it came to sharing snacks.

Patrick, known to many as Pat, was the proud father of Patrick Malley (Natalia), Dennis Malley (Deb), and Kelley Curcio. He was a loving grandfather to Faith, Shane, Leah, and Sophia, who brought him great joy. He loved his family deeply, cared fiercely for those around him, and believed in taking care of one another and keeping family ties strong.

He is survived by his siblings Terry Malley (Elaine), Scott Malley (Sue), Bob Malley (Val), and Lynn Bacco (Mike). He truly cherished his family and loved making memories with his brothers and sister throughout the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth Malley, and his brother, Timothy Malley.

Patrick was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and took great pride in his Irish heritage. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, he was always ready with a joke to brighten the moment. He loved riding motorcycles, including trips to Sturgis with his brother Scott. He served as a former chapter president of A.B.A.T.E. and participated in motorcycle runs, fundraising events, and toy drives to support his community. He also volunteered for several years with the VFW Post 2006 Color Guard, honoring fellow veterans at local funerals.

Patrick was an incredible man who will be deeply missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
