Paul Kenneth Blanco, 59, passed away on March 22, 2026, in The Villages, Florida. He was born on December 1, 1966, in Red Bank, New Jersey, to Elizabeth A. Blanco (née Hann) and Mariano R. Blanco Sr.
Paul will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor, quick wit, and unwavering patriotism. He had a deep love for the simple joys in life, especially fishing, golfing, and his passion for firearms. His presence brought laughter, strength, and pride to those who knew him.
Paul honorably served his country for 22 years in the United States Army, dedicating his career as a Special Purpose Equipment Supervisor and later as a Senior Ordnance Center & School Instructor for Professional Development. His commitment to excellence and leadership earned him membership in the prestigious Audie Murphy Club. After retiring from military service, Paul continued his dedication to his country through his work with the federal government at CECOM, where he served as an Equipment Specialist focused on provisioning for 15 years, retiring in January 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Mariano Blanco Sr., and his beloved son, Joseph Blanco.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Paulina Blanco; his children, Alexandria DeRita (husband Nicholas DeRita), Brianna Blanco, and John Blanco; and his cherished granddaughter, Gianna R. DeRita. He is also survived by his brother, Mariano Blanco Jr. (wife Susan Blanco), and their children, Ethan Blanco and Zoe Blanco.
Paul’s legacy of service, strength, and humor will live on through his family and all who had the honor of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
