Obituary

Paul Jeffery Bouchard was born March 31, 1955, to Oza and Alberta Adrienne Bouchard in Springfield, Massachusetts. Paul was the youngest of three sons. He grew up in Eastern Massachusetts where he spent a lot of time close to his family. Paul told may wildly entertaining stores about growing up with his brothers and his cousins. Is family loved to Iowa in his early teen years and then to El Paso, Texas where Paul graduated high school.

After high school, Paul moved back to New England. As a young man, he met the love of his life while working in the game factory. Paul and Mary Jane were married in 1975. He worked for many years as an electronics technician and was a skilled repairman. Paul has a lifelong passion for music which included playing guitar and collecting records. He and Mary Jane welcomed three children: Mary Anne, Paul, and Melanie. Paul was a dedicated and loving father to his kids. They lived in Carver, Massachusetts where and Paul spent time scuba diving for lobsters with his friends. He has a boat named Mary Jane and his dream car, a 1969 Hearst Oldsmobile 442, that he spent time restoring.

In 1991, they moved to St. Petersburg, Florida before settling for 25 years in rural Watkins, Minnesota. Paul opened a music store with his brother Peter which he ran for a couple of years. Paul loved reading and he shared that love with his children. He enjoyed spending time outdoors in Minnesota camping, boating, and fishing. In 2015, Paul and Mary Jane moved back to Florida and took up residence Port Charlotte. While there, they enjoyed reconnecting with family in Florida and spending time together. Paul was incredibly strong as he faced several difficult diagnoses inkling renal failure. He was incredibly grateful to have Mary Jane's loving care and support through these difficult. Paul went to his heavenly home on February 20, 2024, and he will be missed by many people who loved him.

Paul is survived by his wife Mary Jane and their three children and their spouses: Mary Anne and Mark, Paul and Melissa, and Melanie and Dru. He is survived by six grandchildren and four stepchildren. Paul is survived by his brothers, Oza and Peter. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, little sister, and grandparents.

Paul will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all that knew him.
