IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul Marvin
Cook Jr ("Boh")
October 21, 1951 – May 19, 2025
Paul Marvin Cook Jr., lovingly known as "Boh" to his family, passed away on May 19, 2025, in Cape Coral, Florida, at the age of 73. He was born on October 21, 1951, in Baltimore, Maryland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul M. Cook Sr. and Ruby G. Cook (Nugent); his sister, Lavina Cook; and his brother, Howard J. Cook.
He is survived by his daughters, Shawna Greene and Tonya Leonard (Cook); his brothers Marvin Cook ("Cookie"), Charles Cook ("Eddie"), and Henry Cook ("Travis"); and by Anthony Nyul and Nicole Killman (Cook), whom he proudly raised as his own.
Paul attended International College in Fort Myers, Florida. He spent many years as an owner-operator of an over-the-road semi-truck, traveling across the country. After retiring from the road, he continued working with vehicles as a mechanic, always ready to help others fix their cars.
He had a lifelong love for cars and trucks. He could fix just about anything with an engine, and at one point, he had so many vehicles that he was nearly required to get a dealer's license.
Paul also had a passion for Halloween and took pride in decorating for it every year—always aiming to make it as spooky as possible. He was a big fan of old Western movies and loved relaxing with one on the screen. And anyone who knew Paul knew how much he loved his Pepsi—one of his last requests was simply to have a cold Pepsi.
Paul will be missed greatly.
