Paul Albert Genest, 82, originally from Prospect, CT, and who relocated to Edgewater, FL in 1983, passed away on Monday, January 24th, 2022, unexpectedly.

Paul was born in Waterbury, CT on March 19th, 1939, to parents Alexander Genest and Florence Hebert Genest.

Paul graduated from Leavenworth High School. He was well known and liked by everyone. He loved sports and was a race car enthusiast. In his early years, he played the accordion. He was a professional truck driver and received an award from his local union for his long years of faithful service. He was jovial and could be quite a prankster.

Paul is survived by his children, grandchildren, and two brothers, Robert and Edmond Genest.

There will be a private graveside service held in Cheshire, CT at the discretion of his children.
