Paul B. Hershberger, born as one of eight siblings in rural Wellman, Iowa on October 27, 1931 passed away at his New Smyrna Beach home on the evening of June 14, 2019 at the age of 87. Paul was raised and worked on the Hershberger family farm in his youth. In 1952 he moved to Archbold, Ohio, where he met and married Alice M. Roth his wife of 64 years. In 1958 Paul moved with his wife and two infant sons to New Smyrna Beach, Florida where he spent the remainder of his life. Paul's career encompassed construction, condominium management, and a successful real estate business. Paul is survived by his immediate family including wife Alice, two sons Craig (Leslie) of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Kim (Ursula) of Truckee, CA. Paul is also survived by four grandchildren Zachary (Taylor), Alexander (Kim-mother), Jacob, and Amanda (Kim-mother). Paul was blessed to have a large and loving extended family and circle of friends residing in Iowa, Ohio, and New Smyrna Beach, FL. A service to honor and celebrate Paul's life will take place at Coronado Community United Methodist Church (201 S Peninsula Ave, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169) on Saturday July 13, 2019 at 11:00am with Reverend Laura Berg officiating. There will be a reception at the church following the service.
