Obituary

Paul Malcolm King, 89, of Fort Myers, passed away January 26, 2020, at Langham Healthcare at The Woodlands, in Cape Coral, FL. Born September 3, 1930, in Toledo, OH., he was the son of John Lester King and Laura Cunningham. Surviving are his loving wife Marian, sons, Dave and wife Moe, and their children Dave Jr., Stephanie, and Tom, Randy and his sons Scott, Brian, and Matthew, Todd, and wife Julie, and their children, Anne and Rand. Also surviving are many grandkids and great grandkids. Paul was an exceptional athlete excelling in basketball and track. He was elected to senior class president in 1949. He spent most of his adult life as a real estate broker. "He was the dad that played sports with us kids as well as the neighborhood kids." Paul was involved in the church, serving as usher and assisting in communion; which is where he met mom. He spent his retirement doing his hobby of sailing in the Gulf of Mexico. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.  Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Fort Myers, assisted with arrangements.
